Getting Started

Log in at riding-places.com with your email and password. The web portal gives you access to your Rambles, ride history, route builder, groups, and account settings.

The main navigation includes:

Groups & Leaderboards - Search for groups to join by name and track rankings
Rambles - See every live Ramble across your groups, track your progress, and claim rewards from the "Your rewards" section. You're enrolled by riding with your groups - some Rambles ask you to confirm before they count your rides
Rides - View and manage your ride history
Routes - Create and edit routes (GeoZones are visible on the route builder map)
Profile & Settings - Manage your profile and integrations

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Riding Places free for riders?

Yes. Riding Places is free for all riders. Groups pay subscriptions to run Rambles (GeoZones are the locations inside them).

Do I need Strava?

No. You can record rides directly in the Riding Places mobile app without Strava.

Can I import old Strava rides?

No. Only new rides recorded after you connect Strava are imported.

I finished a Ramble - where's my prize?

If the Ramble offers a reward, you'll receive a congratulations email with instructions. Check your inbox (and spam folder). For shipped prizes, click the claim link in the email to enter your address. For coupons, the code is in the email. If you lose the email, your award can also be claimed from the "Your rewards" section on the Rambles page (older wins from before that section launched: ask your group admin for help). How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → scroll to the bottom → Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data and cannot be undone.
