After registering and subscribing, you'll have access to your group admin dashboard. Here's how to get up and running:
The sidebar navigation gives you access to all admin features: Dashboard, Profile, Rambles, and Settings.
The Rambles tab is where your group rides together. Pick from six kinds, from visiting a favorite location to climbing a leaderboard or raising money for charity. Riders join your group, confirm the Rambles that ask, and their rides count from there.
If your group is public, riders can search for it by name in the app or website. You can also share your group link or QR code directly. Private groups require an access code.
Yes, create as many GeoZones as you need. There's no limit. A GeoZone is simply a location, and the same location can be used by more than one Ramble. Dates and schedules live on the Ramble, not the GeoZone.
Yes. When creating a Ramble, you can set up a reward with a redemption method - coupon codes, shipped prizes, in-person collection, or let the rider choose. Riders receive redemption instructions automatically in their completion email. See the Reward Redemption guide for details.
When a Ramble ends, rides stop counting towards it, and it shows as ended in your Rambles list. Riders keep their history and any prize claims stay available. You can Duplicate an ended Ramble to run it again, and repeating Rambles can be Reopened from the editor.
Yes, riders can join as many groups as they like. Points are tracked separately for each group based on rides completed after joining.
When riders mark a ride as a commute and specify what transport they replaced (car, bus, etc.), we calculate CO₂ avoided using published, standardized emission factors for the group's market. The exact factors and their sources are listed on the CO₂ methodology page.
We offer onboarding assistance for new groups. Email us to schedule a walkthrough of the platform and get personalized setup advice.
You can delete your group account yourself: go to Settings, open the Delete Group Account section, and type your group name to confirm. Deletion is permanent - it removes your group profile, its Rambles and GeoZones, and cancels your subscription, but your members keep their own accounts, rides, and stats. If anything blocks you, email support@riding-places.com.
